COVID-19 testing for SFUSD teachers and staff

Color is partnering with SFUSD to expand access to COVID-19 testing.

Before testing, create your Color account

  1. Enter your school’s name in the search bar below to find your school-specific program code.
  2. Head to home.color.com/create-account.
  3. Enter your SFUSD email and your school’s program code, and set up a password.
  4. Pick up a kit at school any day Monday-Friday. Be sure to drop your sample off at your school’s drop bin the same day you collect it before noon, or at a central office site before 4:30pm.

We’ll send you an email to confirm your email address once you’ve created your account. After confirming, your account is ready for use. You only need to do this once.

    Testing schedule

    Browse for your school’s name to find the last courier pickup time each day. Once you’ve registered, you can pick up a kit at any available location.

     

    On testing day

    Activate your kit

    Each time you get a test, activate your kit at color.com/covid/activate. You must activate your kit, collect your sample, and return your kit on the same day. 

    Important details to remember

     

    1. Return your sample before 10:30AM for morning testing or 3:30PM for afternoon testing.
    2. Activate your kit, collect your sample, and return your kit on the same day.
    3. Before you drop off your sample, make sure that:
      • You collected your sample today. If you didn’t, get a new collection kit.
      • You activated your kit. If not, do it now at color.com/covid/activate. You will need the barcode that’s on your collection tube and barcode card.
