There’s things we can do now, including screening for cancer so we can treat it before it becomes a major issue. If we can have information at our fingertips, why wouldn’t we?”

— Brian

When my father and sister were both diagnosed, it made me think about my own health and my future with my kids. I heard about Color at work. I wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to be tested. I want to take that power and use it to my advantage.”

Common Questions

How much does the Color program cost?

All at-home tests and Color care team services are generously covered by Red Bull.

Any services provided by non-Color providers, like mammograms and colonoscopies, will need to be covered by your normal insurance. Your care advocate will work with you to find in-network providers and avoid surprise costs.

What happens after I claim my benefit?

After completing a short assessment, you’ll receive your personal care plan and access to a dedicated care team who can assist you with screenings and questions. You’ll also receive your Color Welcome Package, which includes at-home tests (if appropriate), a blood pressure monitor, and a small gift from us.

I already received an Essential Care kit. What should I do?

Complete your screenings and send them back to us! To ensure your kit is tied to you, head to color.com/test/activate.

You should complete cancer and heart health screenings once per year to stay on top of your health. To understand what additional screenings you can do with Color, log in to your account at home.color.com.

What happens if I receive an abnormal screening result?

Cancer and heart health screening tests are designed to detect early signs of disease, or risk factors for a condition. An abnormal result means that the test identified something outside of the normal range. It does not necessarily mean that you have cancer or a heart condition, it just means that additional testing is an important next step.

Your care team will be available to answer any of your questions and help you get follow-up testing to clarify your results.

What if I already have a primary care provider, ob/gyn, or specialist I'm working with?

We are happy to make it even easier for you to work with your existing care team! For example, we can order your mammogram or colonoscopy so you can skip a visit to the doctor. We are also able to share test results with additional doctors at your request.

Will my employer have access to my personal health data?

No, your employer will not have access to your personal health data.

Which at-home tests can I receive if I live in New York?
Is this program useful to me if I’ve had cancer or if I have increased risk for cancer?

Yes! Our doctors, genetic counselors, and care advocates have deep experience in cancer care. Whether you have a question about your screening plan or are looking for more information, we are here to help.

Also, if you haven’t had genetic testing, this information might be informative to your care team.

Screening only works if you do it.
