Our partnership with the American Cancer Society

Working together to help improve access to cancer screening, care, and support

A united front against cancer

Color and the American Cancer Society (ACS) work together to provide convenient, accessible, and comprehensive Cancer Care. This first-of-its-kind collaboration combines ACS’s trusted guidance and patient resources with Color’s clinical care, accessible screening, and care advocacy.

By putting proven, evidence-based strategies in reach—across workplaces, communities, and care settings—we’re helping employers, unions, and health plans improve cancer outcomes.*

“Over two million people will be diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. this year. The challenge isn’t just early detection, it’s making sure everyone can access the care they need. We’re proud to work with Color to close that gap for the 156 million Americans who rely on employer- or union-sponsored care.”

Dr. Karen Knudsen,
Former CEO, American Cancer Society

Real impact in just 8 weeks

In a cohort pilot study with Color, participants were assessed for five common cancers based on ACS guidelines and supported by Color’s Care Team throughout the process. The results, gathered over a period of eight weeks, show the power of early, guided intervention:

~3x

increase in screening adherence

84%

said they better understood screening timelines

89%

rated their Color clinician experience as “excellent” or “very good”

90%

wanted access to emotional and social support if diagnosed

Support that stays with you

Cancer Care isn’t just about medicine—it’s about being seen, supported, and never alone. This partnership connects people to compassionate, no-cost services backed by ACS, including:

Whether someone is navigating screening, diagnosis, or survivorship, they won’t have to do it alone.

Expanding access, advancing equity

Far too many people face delays or barriers to care simply because of where they live, what they earn, or what insurance coverage they have. Together, Color and ACS are working to change that.

Bringing screenings home

Color and ACS have launched a pilot to distribute free at-home FIT kits—used for colorectal cancer screening—through federally qualified health centers and community clinics serving rural and underserved populations. The Color Care Team handles follow-up to help turn test results into timely care.

Tackling low screen rates

Only 6% of eligible individuals in the U.S. receive lung cancer screenings. In response, Color launched a free nationwide lung cancer screening support service based on ACS’s guidelines—helping people understand eligibility, access scans, and get guided support along the way.

You don’t have to face cancer alone

If you or someone you care about needs help getting screening, navigating next steps, or finding support—Color and ACS are here.
