Welcome to Color’s COVID-19 Treatment Platform

Have you tested positive for COVID-19? Color is partnering with public health departments to offer a free telehealth visit and antiviral prescription, if eligible. If the doctor prescribes antiviral treatment, you can pick it up at a nearby pharmacy or have it delivered to your home.

How does it work?

Color offers these programs on behalf of public health departments who want to provide free access to COVID-19 treatment to residents. If you have tested positive for COVID-19, you can get a free telehealth visit and treatment prescription if eligible. We will help you find a pharmacy or have the prescription delivered to your home.

View the “Get treatment” section above to find an active program near you. You will then be guided through the entire process. We’ve summarized the most important steps below to give you a sense of what to expect.

*Eligibility: You must be 18 years or older. You must start antiviral treatment within 5 days of symptoms. If some of your health information disqualifies you from being prescribed this treatment, we will alert you.

Step 5: Join the video call for your COVID-19 telehealth visit with a clinician.

What do I need?

You will need the following to participate in Color’s COVID-19 treatment program.

A smartphone or computer.
If you need help, you may ask someone you trust to help you complete the form.

Proof of a positive COVID-19 test.
Any COVID-19 test will work! You just need to be able to provide the date you took the test (within the last 5 days) and a photo of your result.

A physical address in the state of the program.
Eligibility is limited to persons whose current address is in the state where the program is offered.

Treatments

What treatments do you offer?

Clinicians will be evaluating whether a patient should be given a prescription for a specific COVID-19 oral antiviral treatment. If you are interested in other treatment options for COVID-19, please seek care from your healthcare provider as other options are not available through this program at this time.

Prescriptions

How will I get my medicine (if eligible)?

You will be asked to select pick-up at a pharmacy or home delivery.

Pharmacy pick-up:
We will provide a list of pharmacies with available supply for you to select. If eligible, the clinician will send your prescription to your chosen pharmacy.

Home delivery:
We also offer the option to have the prescription delivered to your home. You can select home delivery as an option and enter your shipping address. You will receive notifications on shipping progress from Color. Your prescription will be delivered in 1-2 business days.

This oral antiviral treatment is intended for those with mild to moderate COVID-19 who are at high-risk for progression to severe COVID-19, and who are within 5 days of symptom onset.

 

People who have had symptoms more than five days, who may be pregnant, or who are not at high risk for severe illness (based on age or medical history), may not be eligible for this treatment through this program.

 

A consultation for COVID-19 antiviral treatment is currently only available through Color to those who are 18 or older. If you are under 18, please talk to a healthcare provider about treatment options.

 

Eligibility may also be restricted depending on your Color program sponsor’s terms. Eligibility through Color’s partnership with Massachusetts is limited to persons whose current address is in Massachusetts and pharmacy products are only shipped to valid addresses in Massachusetts.

No. The Color services, including clinical consultation and mail order pharmacy service, are made available at no cost to you. The cost of this antiviral treatment is currently covered by the federal government (subject to change).

 

If you choose to use a local pharmacy, you are responsible if there are any associated costs.

Filling out the survey to determine whether you are eligible to speak to a clinician about this antiviral treatment should take you about 5 minutes. If treatment may be appropriate for you, your clinician will join the call in 5–30 minutes to complete the evaluation (within standard business hours of 8 AM to 10 PM EST, 7 days a week).

A clinician will wait up to 10 minutes for you to join the video call. If the clinician cannot complete a video call with you, they will not be able to complete your evaluation. If you miss a consultation, please request another one.
