Read about our recent product expansion here.

At Color, we believe in new ideas and experimentation. So we’re pretty serious about hack weeks; our product, design, and engineering teams see them as a chance to take a step back from our normal cadence to brainstorm and build new ideas and experiences. In fact, many of last year’s hack week projects (notably Shared Family History) are now important parts of the everyday Color experience.

Hack week in 2016 was focused on engagement which continues to be an important area for Color. This year’s theme is re-engagement: we hope to build some cool new ways to help our clients enjoy healthier lives even after they’ve taken the Color test.

Teams of eager colleagues were formed last week to hit the ground running — and we’re off! We’ll check back in on Friday to cover what we created this year, and all the new ways Color customers can benefit from learning about their genes.
